Since Croatia is known for being a country with a high rate of emigrants spread all over the world it came to our mind to build an English speaking website for all Croats abroad and everyone interested in Croatian footballers.

The first version of the website went online on the 1^st of April 2009 as an one-man-army project.

Oliver is the Editor in Chief, webmaster and primary (since the only) contributor to the site.

It is rumored that he came up with the idea for HNSLatest.com whilst meditating, cross-legged in the lotus position atop a lush, verdant hillside in Nepal, for only with pure clarity of thought could such an impeccably brilliant idea be born. Close advisors note more realistically that the idea was formed 10 minutes after Šimunić received the legendary third yellow card.
Son of a German mother and a Croatian father, born in Germany, raised in Croatia, successfully abandoned studies in Germany. A Hajduk Split and VfB Stuttgart fan, an Arsenal sympathizer Oliver is addicted to football.
