Croatian master marksman Mladen Petrić was the only player to sign the scorer sheet in a friendly game between Hamburger SV and Eredivisie champions AZ Alkmaar. Hamburg is on the finishing line for the pre-season preparation as today’s match was the last scheduled friendly for the “Red shorts”. Although beeing one man down for 36 minutes Hamburg dominated the game and looks well prepared for their national and international campaigns in 2010.

AZ Alkmaar v Hamburger SV 0-1
AZ: Sergio Romero, Kew Jaliens, Niklas Moisander, Héctor Moreno, Sébastien Pocognoli (88. Simon Poulsen), Brett Holman (74. Nick van der Velden), Pontus Wernbloom (64. Kees Luijckx), Stijn Schaars, Maarten Martens (64. Jeremain Lens), Mounir El Hamdaoui, Graziano Pellè (46. Ari).
Hamburger SV: Frank Rost, Collin Benjamin, Guy Demel, Joris Mathijsen, Dennis Aogo, Piotr Trochowski (62. Tomás Rincón), David Jarolim (77. Mickael Tavares), Zé Roberto (77. Romeo Castelen), Paolo Guerrero (69. Jonathan Pitroipa), Mladen Petrić (62. Robert Tesche), Eljero Elia (69. Marcus Berg).
